Nourishing Hope, formerly Lakeview Pantry, is a dynamic food and social service organization serving the city of Chicago. One of the city's largest and longest-operating food pantries, we provide our neighbors with food for today and hope for tomorrow through innovative food distribution, mental wellness counseling, and job and housing assistance programs.

Nourishing Hope is a 501(c)3 tax-exempt organization. The average retail price of merchandise ordered is $15. Every dollar donated on top of the retail price counts as a donation that is tax-deductible within the guidelines of U.S. law. Within seven business days you will receive your official receipt for your tax-deductible donation. To claim a donation as a deduction on your U.S. taxes, please keep that email donation receipt as your official record.

Yes, we’ll send a receipt to the email address you provide when donating. The receipt will include your donation details, such as the date, amount, and any beneficiary information. You will receive your official tax receipt within seven business days.
